In the last couple of days I upgraded my Elephant to v.5 after not having used it for sometime.  It absolutely 'blew me away', I'd totally forgotten how good it is.

I'm using it on my drum buss and stereo buss in Cubase 12 Pro, it really kicks ass(!) and has an amazing set of options and clarity if that's what is needed in any given project.

I also use MSED, Crunchessor, Varisaturator, Span and Transgainer with very pleasing results.

In my opinion Voxengos tools are right at the top with the best, and often better than the very expensive ones.

I'd say money spent on Voxengo products is money well spend, thank you, Aleksey. :)

I have really tried many transient shaper plugins to bring forward a closely recorded sound more transparently than an eq or compressor and to keep the background noise under control which means improving the Signal/Noise ratio.

Apart from Eventide Physion which has a separate place (and requires high latency) I must admit that TransGainer is truly exceptional once you understand how to adapt the detector to your purpose, "Transient detector threshold" and PRECISE_B algorithm in particular.

With a reference converter RME ADI-2 PRO FS it is interesting to note that as the resolution increases, artifacts decrease, especially if you want to use low Detector Threshold.  Oversampling is not as useful as a real higher resolution especially from 384kHz and you can also use 768kHz for an almost analog experience.

More than that I think that you have to switch to Elysia Nvelope hardware that has some interesting features that I would like to be inherited by TransGainer in future editions!

As a reference of my tests:

Det Delay = 10.0 (min)

Det Thresh = 12.0 (high sample rate resolutions) / 18.0 (low sample rate resolutions)

X.Attack = 200 (max)

X.Decay = 40.0 (min)

X.Gain = 4.0

Out Gain = 0.0

Congratulations indeed for a plugin very underestimated by reviewers and forums.

I used Transgainer on vocals whose transients (heard mostly on constanants and attacks) were so strong, I thought I needed to re-record the track.  T gainer saved the track and my voice!  Excellent plugin!!!

There is no greater value in the world of plug-ins than Voxengo.  GlissEQ is a masterpiece that always provides beautiful and musical results.  The large number of filter types (18) in GlissEQ is a real plus.  So is the spectrum analyzer provided with all Voxengo equalizers, which eliminates any guesswork.  I especially appreciate the presets provided with each plugin as a starting point, easy mid/side processing, and the ability to manually control so many parameters in each plugin.  The combination of GlissEQ, VariSaturator, TransGainer, and Elephant provide an unlimited palette of sound sculpting options.

I have been using Elephant and Soniformer while mastering for YEARS and there isn't a better combo for raising gain and controlling compression/eq without squashing the whole mix.  Sometimes I add in the TransGainer for that extra sizzle and especially to liven up a room mic or a drum bus.  The versatility of the products really shine when you get into the details.  And the fact that I use them sometimes in 20 instances (Elephant makes a great limiter) in Cubase 5 on a PC and never bog my system down and keep low latency.  That is just great programming and the reason I will be back for more!  My songs recorded with your products have been on radio, film and TV, so thanks for supplying such remarkable tools!

Hello Voxengo!

Just wanted to chime in and say how much I'm enjoying your products.  I'm using LF Max, Transgainer, and your MS plug.  I'm a sound designer for feature films and video games, and I simply cannot believe the value and quality of your software.  It's unreal!

It would be much harder to do a good job without your stuff.  Big beefy sounds!
