In electronic music, many sounds are very much "upfront".  OTT is what many choose for this purpose.

However, I have found that Varisaturator is much better in place of OTT when it comes to this purpose.  Much more controllable and much smoother (even though OTT is multiband compression and Varisaturator is multiband saturation/inflation) In most cases where I would choose OTT, I am using Varisaturator instead for the same purpose and it does the job much better.  This small change has improved my mixes for electronic music a lot.

Second thing is soft clipping with OVC-128 on buses to smooth and contain, then followed by high end expansion with Soniformer to rebuild some dynamics and transients is an amazing combination.  Smooth, contained and dynamic.

Always finding new relationships and uses with your plugins, thanks!

I've been using at least one of your plugins on all of my mastering projects for years now.  Just want to say thanks.  I've just discovered Soniformer.  I was able to *mostly* rescue one of the worst mixes I've ever gotten.  And without horrible artifacts either.  Keep up the good work.  I'm sure one day I'll own all of your plugins.  Your prices make my hobby-business possible.

I have been using Voxengo tools in the mastering studio for as long as the studio has operated.  Unique tools that are designed for correcting real world problems at prices that suit wallets.  I am using Elephant, Warmifier and Soniformer here and whilst they are not used for every job they are a very important set of tools in my digital toolbox fitting in where other tools fail to meet the desired results.  The fact that every plug in has a free demo means you can assess the sound qualities in your own studio with your own music.  I always like to check back on the site to see if new innovative products have been developed.  Keep up the good work.

As always, the new plug-ins downloaded and installed quickly and easily -- and they sound excellent.  The LF Max Punch really does a great job -- better than I usually get using a series of filters, compressors, and distortion tools.  And I am very impressed with Soniformer -- love the fact that ratios can be smaller than 1:1 making it an expander where needed.  And of course the incredible flexibility of compression/expansion across the audio spectrum is amazing.

I have been using Elephant and Soniformer while mastering for YEARS and there isn't a better combo for raising gain and controlling compression/eq without squashing the whole mix.  Sometimes I add in the TransGainer for that extra sizzle and especially to liven up a room mic or a drum bus.  The versatility of the products really shine when you get into the details.  And the fact that I use them sometimes in 20 instances (Elephant makes a great limiter) in Cubase 5 on a PC and never bog my system down and keep low latency.  That is just great programming and the reason I will be back for more!  My songs recorded with your products have been on radio, film and TV, so thanks for supplying such remarkable tools!

In a market bloated with 'emulations' of classic gear, it's rare to find juicy sounding plugins that capture the best qualities of 'classic', offer some flexibility and don't break the bank.  In the universe of more tweakable plugins, here too only a few offerings stand out.

After years of working with hundreds of plugins from numerous companies, I've found only a handful of offerings that keep me coming back.  One of those companies that still hold a top spot is Voxengo.  Their plugins are 'analog' without being slavishly limited to a given hardware model; flexible but not overloaded with 'feature bloat'; affordable without sacrificing sound quality; and have excellent & consistent GUIs to work with.  A winning combination.

There is definitely a place for well designed emulations of classic gear, but when you require some flexibility and/or modernity, Voxengo is great choice.  Their uniform GUIs also promote actually listening to the music!

Voxengo also has an easy robust activation system (no dongles), exceptional reliability (I've never had a Voxengo plugin crash my DAW in 14 years) and full 64 bit floating point processing*.

I absolutely love Voxengo plugs for flexibility, sound quality and value.  I recommend them to everyone I know.

DUDE!  What the heck!!!  I'm so pissed!  Do you know how many years I've wasted writing and producing music WITHOUT soniformer???  I don't even want to think of it.  I am a fan of pretty much everything voxengo puts out, but soniformer is absolute magic!!!  Thanks to this VST I was able to master a demo track I had created to use as a resume for potential clients whom I want to record in my studio - sure enough, a band I've been trying to get to sign on with me for 5 years FINALLY signed due to the quality of production I am now able to achieve.  Thank you VOXENGO!!! (guess I'll have to revisit those old tracks...)

As good as waves NLS with the option to design console saturation, tube harmonics and Tube Grit and distortion, this is THE CONSOLE EMULATOR, it is what lampthruster was trying to achieve which I still have and use often.  The sound is Exceptional and I rate voxengo FX as an alternative for musical enthusiasts who cant afford the big name FX, but voxengo FX are even better than some of the "suggested by pros" FX vsts and give many a run for their money.  Soniformer 3 is the best processor for mastering I have ever used with the only downside being the processor hit and it has an excellent vintage tape vibe

If you could see my list of vst plugins and dxi plugins of every brand I have to choose from you wouldn't believe it.  When trying to make a choice as to what to use when processing a track or mix, I would usually turn to the most expensive and name brand plugins in my arsenal.  One day I noticed I was turning more to Voxengo plugins.  When I was auditioning various plugins to find the most usable processing for a particular track, I found myself time after time returning to Voxengo plugins, and for goodness sakes, these were the free plugins.  I remember one day the light went on and I thought," you know what?  These are very good plugins!" I have been engineering for nearly 35 years and now that I have my own personal studio, I will always audition Vorengo plugins first, why waste valuable time trying anything else.
