Absolutely the best free EQ that I have used!  Very warm "tube like" sound, very useful.  Unbelievable free plug-in from Voxengo again!
Julian Janev - mixing and mastering engineer

For ITB mastering, it's hard to beat the color, and flexibility of Overtone GEQ.  There's a lot of analog-styled EQ's on the market, but I've yet to find one that really warms up the music the way Overtone does.  For such a high-quality sound, combined with the ability to process with m/s, I can't believe it's free.  I'd have gladly paid for an EQ this great!

Oh my gosh!  This is amazing.  I have been recording in my home studio for over 8 years and I have always gotten a hollow, narrow, non-professional sound, no matter how hard I tried.  I use good (mid-grade) pro-audio equipment, a quality mic, and decent sounding instruments, however I could never get that professional glaze.  I am a female vocalist, and due to the natural timbre of my voice, combined with my soprano range, my vocals always seemed to sound hoow, with too much reverb and echo (and nor because I added that either).  I bought the voxformer, harmoniEQ, varisaturator, and polysquasher, and downloaded some of the free applications as well.  The difference is remarkable.  I just bought these yesterday- I installed them and worked with them til about midnight last night, then set the CD to burn while I slept.  This morning, I took a listen and WOW.  It sounds like it was done in a professional studio.  Most of that came from the voxformer and harmoniEQ.  Now, I will clean up the little things and add the final gloss with the varisaturator and the polysquasher.  All I can say is "thank you".  After many dead end searches, I finally found the products that work.

Normally, I don´t write testimonials.  Though I must drop Voxengo´s Plugins a line.  These plugins are extraordinary.  Let me explain why: First, Voxengo sells the plugins at less than fair value.  This is very rare nowadays.  Next, it´s the sound.  Here is the stunning part: I know the sound of many professional plugins (as I´m a professional audio engineer) but only a few satisfied me, regardless of famous names like...well, you know all the pro-plugins...Then, one day, I tried the Voxengo Overtone GEQ and couldn´t believe my ears!  For free but what a sound!  It brought my drum group to life again.  So I got curious for all the others.  The next plugin I wanted to give a try was the Stereo Touch.  Again I was stunned.  I recorded a guitar track (mono) and added some of the Stereo Touch by using an Aux send.  Before that it just sounded poor and small, but with some "Stereo Touch"...wow!  You have to hear it yourself!!

Keep your philosophy up, Aleksey Vaneev!

Hi.  This is Robert from Serakos studio (Poland) www.serakos.pl.  I've just downloaded your GEQ and I'm absolutely stunning.  This plug-in exellent.  I'm using Pro Tools TDM with couple of nice outboard (Vintech, TL Audio, Focusrite, Apogee) and Wavelab for VST plugs.  I have to say that GEQ is one of the best eq (software and - or - hardware) and the M/S option is superb for mastering.  Thank you!

Voxengo is one of the few companies I wholeheartedly trust in my signal path.  Thank you for making state-of-the-art quality accessible outside of the studio.  I highly recommend 'Overtone GEQ', for sweetening and balancing, and 'OldSkoolVerb' for adding depth without sacrificing punch and clarity.  I can't thank you enough for your incredibly useful plugins!!!

I absolutely love Voxengo plugs for flexibility, sound quality and value.  I recommend them to everyone I know.

The ease of use and high amount of detailed adjustments that comes with each of these plugins is a sign of true passion for developing great music software products.  One by one i'm replacing a lot of high $ plugins in my setup with the Voxengo series - they just sound better and are easy enough for a beginner to use, but powerful and versatile for professional needs

Add me to the chorus of people singing praises about Voxengo software.  I've just recently started getting into computer audio recording (Cubase 4 on an Intel Mac), and was looking for some improvement over the stock plug-ins.  I downloaded a couple of the free Voxengo plug-ins (the Tube Amp and Overtone GEQ), and based on that, will be purchasing some others now.

Echoing what others have said, the Voxengo plug-ins sound musical (what a concept!) and are reasonably priced.  It's obvious the person who designed them has a discriminating and musical ear.  I was able to make some immediate improvements to a couple tracks with the free plug-ins.  I almost feel like I'm using analog gear, due to the warm, musical tone of this software.  Great job!  I also appreciate the modular concept of the plug-ins, how they all share a number of common parameters, which makes it easier to switch from one to the next.

The Voxengo website is well organized, making it easy to get information on the software.  It's also clear that the software is updated regularly to fix any issues that come up. (Wouldn't it be nice if all software companies did this?)

I don't write too many testimonials, but when someone does something right, it should be recognized, and Aleksey Vaneev has done just that.  Thank you for designing this software, and making it available to the public.

Woohoo!!  The Mac OSX 10.4.11+ version of Voxengo Overtone GEQ came out just in time!  I'm mixing live multi-track recordings from 7 different bands I captured at the Northern California Blues Festival and the email notification about this product came just as I was mixing the 4th one... a rather large band with a horn section.  I was struggling with the sound until I threw this plug-in into the mastering track along with Crunchessor.  This thing put the "live" back into the live recording!  Thank you!!!!
