It's the definitive tool to enhance the spatial position of a track in the mix, far more better than a conventional reverb/delay... just press the "same as left" button and take a look at your phase monitor.  It takes a little to spread your track in the stereo field.  Highly recommended.

I use Voxengo Elephant on all my mixdowns to get them gelled and nice and loud without losing the dynamics.  While I like the transparency of this plugin, I love how easy it is to use the best.  Also, one of the best things about this plug, is the price point.  Costing leagues less than the equivalent in results.  This is a no brainer and should be used by everyone.  Very good job with this top notch plugin.

I've just bought the VariSaturator and have to say it's a very very nice plugin.

I will be using this on the mix buss to give a full rich sound, and on vocals to add that soft distortion which is so pleasing to the ear.

Like all "cool button" plugins, which this could easily be,- you can overdo it, but the spice this adds is pretty special and I'll be using to add interest to audio in many many situations.

The sound is very very hi quality, and it's a bargain at the price.

I tried your Overtone GEQ the other day and I fell in love with it!  It's a fantastic sounding EQ that moulds your sound rather than forces it.

It's free too!  Thanks alot.  More plugs for the mac now please.

I am a 31-year-old musician that has been singing and playing guitar for 17 years.  My two brothers and a lifelong friend have been writing and performing music together for over 10 years.  We have gone to local studios and paid tons of money only to be rushed, overcharged, and unhappy with the end result of our music.  Therefore, we decided to record our latest efforts ourselves.  I studied, researched, practiced, and sought advice from several forums.  I was happy with everything about our project, exept my vocals.  They just sounded "dry" and "metallic".  I couldn't put my finger on it, but my vocals sounded very weak next to our music (we play alternative rock...think Coheed and Cambria meets The Mars Volta).  The Warmifier paired with the Voxformer is an absolutely astounding solution.  My vocals sound rich, warm, and polished.  Believe me, I've tried several plug-ins (compressors, EQ's, Modulators, etc., etc.) with less than satisfying results (glitches, poor quality, system crashes, you name it) but these two Voxengo plug-ins are an instant fix.  I really am surprised at the difference this plug-in makes.  It's almost imperceptable....very subtle, but definately there!  Extremely easy to use.....I use two presets that come with the plug-ins "Warmer and Richer" on the Warmifier and "Smooth as Silk" on the Voxformer.  I will be posting this on the Voxformer page as well.  Thanks Voxengo.....

Hello Aleksey, I just wanted to let you know that I have achieved some remarkable results on my current Zappa Plays Zappa project with your VariSaturator and Curve EQ.  It's quite bizarre how well those 2 plug ins work together to create old analog effects.  I say that because I almost can't believe how it transformed the audio.

Everyone always comments about how musical your plug-ins sound and this particular combination on this project is blowing my mind for that very reason.

Thanks for creating those devices.

Regards,

DZ

I'm a non-professional but still devoided french guitar player/arranger.  I've been working on music at various stages (singer, guitar player, songwriter, arranger, both in studios and on stage) for more than ten years now.  And I can say in all honesty that the Boogex is the only I like using to enhance/reshape the sounds I produce with my guitar and pedals (very few pedals actually but, it's true all of them top-quality).

My sound-engineer (on other projects than the ones I lead) first told me that he didn't like the Boogex but after he watched me work with it, he eventually decided to use it and now does use it often.  I think it's the best plug-in I have, or at least I can SAY that it's the one I use the most.  And, by Jove, it's FREE!

Actually (honest) I was checking this site to see if there was any chance of bying the same stuff as hardware to go onstage with it as nearly all my guitar sounds have some Boogex features in tem and we're going onstage soon.  Well...  I'm going to check out the compressors for I need one to master our debut album (already nicely reviewed as a demo in mags).

To conclude I would say that I will sign with just my initials so that nobody can find me, for I like my sound (and journalists in many countries have said they did too so...) and I would hate people to have such a clue about how it's made (even if other "secrets" are involved...).  I would hate people thinking such a praise of the Boogex to be some sort of advertisemnt.  It's FREE.  They don't even sell this stuff and its GREAT.  I mean.  Thank you for that, really.

I use Span and out of all the spectrum analysers I've tried I find it detailed and easy to look at and I don't mix without it.  The fact it is free is the icing on the cake.

Great sound - for free!!  I was looking for something like the "Aphex Aural Exciter" I use on my ProToolsTDM rig.  Overtone GEQ wins the price - great stuff.  Other Presets are very usefull and good sounding as well. (Works via FXpansion RATS to VST on PT M-Powered 7.4 WinXP pro)

Thanks for included us OSX users in the release of the Overtone GEQ.  I have been experimenting with M/S processing and was happy to see that feature included.  All in all, a fine plugin both versatile and great sounding.
