I can't recommend the Voxengo Boogex enough - it's just a flawless amp simulator all around.  The sound is crystal clear and wicked, and the awesome distortion you can achieve with the drive turned up is nothing short of staggering.  It just creates a huge sound and offers such a wide variety of ways to tweak the tone.  The easy-to-use grid allows subtle or extreme adjustments to the timbre and overall size of your tone.  This is a perfect VST, bar none.

At first I was put off by the plain looks of these Plugins.  I'd pay twice or three times as much money for something that 'looked the part' but ultimately didn't sound even half as good as Voxengo.  I'm learning how other Companies 'talk about' 'warm' and 'old' and 'analogue'.  Voxengo just gets on with the job and delivers 10 out of 10, everytime.  The funny thing is, is that I'm beginning to like those quirky looks after all :) Daniel, Dublin/Ireland!

Voxengo's plugins have always had a fabulous transparent sound which has become part of the Calamity Studio work process.  Gliss is our 'got to' channel EQ, Soniformer and Elephant are part of our regular mastering chain.

But now that Aleksey is leading the way by providing x64 supported versions of all his new plugs we will be purchasing every new release from now on.

Spasibo Aleksey!  And many thanks to all the guys that are creating such wonderful products!  I'm using plenty of plug-ins of many other sound effect companies, but since the time I come across the "Voxengo" ones there's no a single number/song of mine that I wouldn't want to use these outstanding plug-ins in my tracks/mixes.  I'm not talking about the price, because in my opinion considering their sound, easiness of use, in comparison with other overpriced products from other sites... - they are "free".  I'm impatiently waiting for your other stuff you'll come up with, I'm sure that they're going to be the same sound with a soul and as fantastic as they are now.

With a high respect I'm removing my hat before you guys.

I mainly use Marquis and Pristine Space light.  For me Marquis is one of the best comps out there since it covers a lot of different compressor types and it's very tweakable.  Pristine Space has all I want in a convolution plug.  I also have some of the more expensive stuff in my plugin folder but Voxengo holds its ground and gets used in every mix I do.

I must say I really like this approach to plugins.  Feature rich, plain but useful GUI's and some unique ideas.  Not to forget the fair prices.

Keep up the good work!

Joey

As a long-time user and designer of IRs, I've tried them all.  All convolver programs and plugins, and the best is right here.  Voxengo's Pristine Space is nearly perfect.  The loading time is fast.  The sound quality is rich, full and so much better than anything out.  It has (almost) all the features I look for, and it's rock steady and dependable.  Thank you, Voxengo for a great product.

Unbelievable!!!  I have used guitar rig 2, Amplitube, Cortex, Warp, SimuAnalog, FreeAmp 2,3 and about a dozen I can't even remember, but BY FAR I have appreciated the sound, ease of use, and better programming (less wasted CPU processes) than any other!  Thank you for such a great product and for giving the home-schooled and home-recording guitarists such a great alternative.  I am sincerely grateful.

I once had r8brain but lost it after computer upgrades etc ,its a very handy little plugin to have.  Its nice to record at 96khz bandwidth for the benefits it gives, but I find doing mixing at this samplerate taxes the system and every plugin turns into a potential cpu hog.  So I'm glad I remembered about r8brain to help me out in the file sample rate conversion dpt'.

thankx again

I like it very much, because Gliss EQ gives very bright image of every track in your sequencer.

What's there to say?

The Elephant is the only limiter I know that can take the Moderus remix of the GHIII stems of Death Magnetic and make it as loud as Rubin's/Jensen's version....without the clipping!!

Seriously, one of the nicest guys with the best plugins anywhere.  Wish he lived nearby so i could peer over his shoulder while he codes these masterpieces...
